Primos Wind App Reviews

This is a great app. For years I have referred to NOAAs tabulated wind data to plan my hunt. This app refers to the horses mouth - NOAA. Displaying wind direction on a google earth background is incredibly useful...quick and easy with a reliable data source. This app tells you wind direction for the moment... In the future I would like it to show predicted wind direction hour-to-hour for a 24-hour period like the NOAA website does. If wind direction is predicted to switch from the south at 1:00 pm and start blowing from the west,,, I would like to know that with this app.

Had problems at first but just needed to restart my phone and it works perfect now!

Used it this weekend bow hunting. Works well. Id would like to be able to set a location. I only care about wind direction at hunting land. So knowing that before I get there helps in my planning.

Gotta love this app! Satellite imaging takes the guesswork out of location and wind direction! Good job Primos!

When the weather channel said there was no wind i was disappointed because I could feel it. It was just so slow I couldnt tell from which direction. This awesome app helped me get in a good spot.

App is locked up, never worked after install. Cycled power on phone, still locked up.

Great for Deciding where to hunt. On the map it only shows where you are currently, wish you could store locations so you can see what the wind is doing in other places. 4 stars now but if they ever update it so you can do that then 5 stars.

This app is awesome and works perfect! The only downside is not being able to store locations, but its one hell of an app to have!

Every good hunter knows that you can wear scent clothing and spray down, but nothing works better than hunting the wind. This app is the greatest tool a hunter could ever have, of course if you have cell signal.

Bought and didnt work then started working now not working again. JUNK. JUNK.

But not great either. Ive used this app about 10 times and itd been dead wrong 3 times. Other times it worked great.

Cool app, but I used it for about a week, and now it wont load. Reset my phone, still doesnt work. Its the middle of deer season, so i hope they get this fixed soon!

Ive used this a few times hunting & played with it at work, too. Works everytime. Im writing this as I hunt, & its very accurate. I would recommend & price is def fair.

Im glad this app works for some of you. Apparently its hit or miss. It never worked for me from the start! Keeps telling me to refresh and cant find my location. Good luck rolling the dice when you download. Maybe youll get lucky!

I have had this app. for about 2 weeks now and in the last 5 days it doesnt work keeps telling me to refresh...... its a hit or miss but IF it works is an nice app.

Worked about the first 2 times I used it and hasnt worked since. Dont waste your money!!!!

Shame on Primos for tying their brand to a product that simply dont work, shame on me for not believing the other poor reviews and buying it anyway. Product worked once and thats it.

I used for a month and it worked great now it does not work at all I was thinking about buying again but after recent reviews I dont think so I was even recommend it to other hunters I will tell them not to purchase
